Jom Charity (SCIO) Receives National Lottery Funding for Creative Initiative.

Glasgow, Scotland – 25th February 2025

Jom Charity (SCIO) is excited to announce funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for its creative project, “For Art Sake.” This initiative aims to boost social inclusion and community connections through art.

The funding will support 12 workshops in painting, photography, sculpting, and textile arts, fostering creativity and relationships within local communities. The project will conclude with an open-day celebration and exhibition at the Art & Heritage Centre in Milngavie, showcasing participant artwork.

“We are thrilled to receive this support,” said CEO Josephine Macleod. “It enables us to combat loneliness and isolation through the power of art.”

Aligned with Jom Charity’s mission to enhance community development and well-being, the “For Art Sake” project will create a safe space for creativity and connection.
